Traveling Safety Coordinator (Field-Based)

Position Type: Contract (1099) or W-2
Pay Range: $40–$60/hour
Schedule: 50–80 hours per week
Duration: 3–9 month assignments
Travel: Nationwide (project-based)

Overview

The Traveling Safety Coordinator supports the on-site safety program by assisting with daily safety activities, documentation, and workforce engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated safety professional looking to grow in large-scale project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site safety inspections and documentation
• Support new hire orientations and safety training
• Maintain safety logs, reports, and compliance documentation
• Monitor work activities for hazards and coach employees on safe practices
• Help investigate incidents and track corrective actions
• Ensure proper PPE usage and site compliance

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of safety experience in construction, industrial, or related fields
• OSHA 30 preferred (OSHA 10 minimum)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
